OneDrive integrates itself into Windows, and works really well with Office files. I don’t think there’s a clear winner - every service has its strengths and weaknesses, and each priorities its home platform. I realize everyone is different and one particular service is best/fine for them. How have your experiences been with the different cloud services / opinion on price and value? MS feels like a tremendous deal. For just under $3 a month more, one can get MS Office and Office 365. Just the horrendously slow backups are no fun. It just feels like Apple is a bit laggy in the cloud game. For 5 people, it's only $99 a year and 5TB. 1TB for $69 a year and MS Office included. With that said, someone mentioned MS OneDrive. Also, I chose "save space on MacBook" but the library is still massive, hardly any or no savings at all in space. I thought my MacBook Pro was going to overhead just uploading. To check status, I had to go into preferences to find out where it was at. Apple Photos took 1.5 weeks to upload my library. Also, Numbers is weird, odd for the purpose of being different?Īnother thing: Google Photos is really fast at uploading/synching photos. I recently backed up everything to iCloud and started using Numbers.Ī couple of observations: Numbers is super annoying on phone when putting in formula and getting a range of cells: the formula bar covers the cell you want to select, so I end up typing in the range. I've had Google Drive forever for photos and Google Docs.
